The Queen
It was way longer than it needed to be. Some aspects of production quality (sets, make up, wardrobe) seemed inauthentic. Nudity scenes were weird and unnecessary. I also don't know why so many characters used a transatlantic accent when that did not exist outside of Hollywood or media. Despite these flaws, it was still a good film and thematically impactful. Emily Blunt in particular was excellent (despite the weird accent). Go to Review

The Queen
Timothee Chalamet did an adequate job, but I didn't believe that he fully inhabited the role. The other actors carried the movie for sure. The script and story were not that good, it felt like every other movie of this genre we've all seen before, only not as well-done or compelling. The music was good, but not memorable. Production quality was good, but could have had more life and vibrancy in the set design. I felt more connected to the Wonka world in the previous two movies than this one, it was just missing something to feel like it was a real world. Go to Review
